Here we go again with another media scare!  I guess it's a slow news week or the newspapers need to boost sales! 

This swine flu 'SCARE' is purely BULL!  There are 40 possible cases in the U.S. only one of which required hospitalization, and most have gone away already!  NO ONE HAS DIED OF THIS IN THE U.S.......as a matter of fact, over 35,000 people die each year from the regular strains of flu we have...WHY DON'T THEY MENTION THIS DURING THE PROPAGANDA BLITZ????  I grant you that about 100 people died in Mexico from this flu, mainly due to the fact that they don't have the antiviral medications that are available here, nor the proper facilities to treat this.

This is reminiscent of the 'bird flu' scare of a few years ago.....THEY HAD THE WHOLE PLANET DYING OFF FROM THIS....yet only scattered cases came and went throughout the world.  So what is the reason for this 'PANIC BROADCASTING'???  At the risk of sounding like a 'RADICAL ALARMIST' or a 'LIBERAL CONSPIRACY THEORIST'.......might it be to take the attention away from the ridiculous SPENDING SPREE of Comrade Obama and the SOCIALIST AGENDA TEAM???  Maybe to defuse the onslaught of new taxes that are being pushed through Congress???   Maybe not, but the White House sure jumped on this Flu situation quickly.......OH YEAH....MAYBE BECAUSE THEY CARE.....if you believe that ....I have a bridge in Brooklyn you may be interested in purchasing.

Anyway, I'd just like to tell you all...PLEASE DON'T PANIC....IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD....and to kiss your pet.....EVEN IF SHE IS A PIG!!

And by the way....it's good to be back on xanga and I can't wait to catch up on what all my friends have to say.......I've been doing 'farm stuff'....not an easy task for a 'City Slicker'....I'll write about it during the week.

For years now, scientists have been predicting that one day a large asteroid will hit the earth causing a global catastrophe and the extinction of nearly all living creatures. 

I have a question for all my xanga friends.  If this scenario were to come true and an asteroid would be hitting the earth in exactly three days.....Where would you go, Who would you want to be with and What would you want to do before 'the big one' hits?????

Remember, you only have 3 days which will include travel time (and you probably won't be able to fly....airports would be closed).  You don't have to give a serious answer...funny is okay, but for those of you who would like to think about it and answer seriously...please do.
